Abbazappa is a vinyl record shop in Derry, Northern Ireland.

Customer reviews of Abbazappa record shop

The 140 mile round trip from Carrick was completely worth it, intended to pick up a few things from the £5 bins, left after converting £80 into happiness. I can’t overemphasise how essential a visit to Abbazappa is if you are in anyway interested in music, excellent selection and very reasonable prices. Had the family in tow so I didn’t really scratch the surface but I’ll definitely be back for a longer visit.

Such a special place. Able to tell me whether my brother had certain products already! And rang their other shop to check for a t shirt size. Nothing is too much trouble for Ben. Great local record shop and hang out.

Found out about this place yesterday, it’s a hidden gem. I found records that I used to have when I was a wee boy that have since been destroyed, so I was really excited at the prospect of owning them once again, every genre of music is catered for. The owner Ben made me feel very welcome, he was friendly and knowledgeable, he helped me find a record by Thomas Bangalter (one half of Daft Punk) this is a great wee place, I’m very pleased that I discovered it, I’ll definitely be back.

Cannot say enough about this store. Such a hidden gem! The collection in the store is unbelievable and at such amazing prices. Bought an Elvis vinyl for my dad and he is more than over the moon with it! Can’t wait to call back and have another browse around. Lastly, Katie and Ben were both so welcoming and friendly, couldn’t ask for more!

great little record establishment with a nice selection of new and second hand records. in the same building as other sellers such as retro clothes, books and a cafe. plenty to browse and a great place to spend some quality chill time.

Great selection of records spawning all genres and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best record store in Northern Ireland.

Growing up in Luton and being a punk the only record shop I went to was FL.Moore.You could mix with like minded people and the staff were not just ‘staff’ they loved music as much as the customers.
Its taken a few years but Abbzappa (along with Cool Discs of course) has the same vibe.
You are almost guaranteed to buy something you weren’t looking for when you went in!Chock full of gems and in Ben you have a friendly, knowledgeable owner.
What more could you ask for?
