Belfast’s best new and 2nd hand record shop. Get to it by any bus to Belfast City Hall, then a short walk up to the end of Wellington Place towards Inst. The shop is on the left between The Lounge Cafe and Up And Running. We’re the first set of doors at the top of the first flight of stairs. Reviews of Dragon Records Belfast You can find some rare masterpieces here! Prices and staff are brilliant! One of the most pleasant discoveries in Belfast! Great shop, great selection and friendly staff! I was visiting Belfast for 3 days and in that time, I visited a few record shops but this was the best, by far. There were loads of great records, many of which, i hadn’t seen before and the prices were reasonable. The best record shop in Belfast. Was visiting Belfast on business and managed to fit in a short visit to several vinyl shops. Have to say Dragon was by far the best. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Incredible selection of vinyl at a reasonable price, I could have spent hours in there. I had to be removed by my family kicking and screaming. […]

Record store stocking the latest releases on 12″, along with curiously curated selections and rarities. Experienced music promoter Darren Smyth is one of the figures behind Strange Victory Records, with Jeff Doherty, owner of used vinyl speciality store Dragon Records on Wellington Place, also involved. Darren, who has helped bring over 400 bands and musicians to Belfast over the last 18 years, said he felt there was a gaping hole in the market for an independently owned outlet to buy new vinyl. “Outside of HMV there is nowhere to buy new vinyl in what is supposedly a capital city. We’re the only city I can think of in Europe I think that doesn’t have at least one,” he said.

Abbazappa is a vinyl record shop in Derry, Northern Ireland. Customer reviews of Abbazappa record shop The 140 mile round trip from Carrick was completely worth it, intended to pick up a few things from the £5 bins, left after converting £80 into happiness. I can’t overemphasise how essential a visit to Abbazappa is if you are in anyway interested in music, excellent selection and very reasonable prices. Had the family in tow so I didn’t really scratch the surface but I’ll definitely be back for a longer visit. Such a special place. Able to tell me whether my brother had certain products already! And rang their other shop to check for a t shirt size. Nothing is too much trouble for Ben. Great local record shop and hang out. Found out about this place yesterday, it’s a hidden gem. I found records that I used to have when I was a wee boy that have since been destroyed, so I was really excited at the prospect of owning them once again, every genre of music is catered for. The owner Ben made me feel very welcome, he was friendly and knowledgeable, he helped me find a record by Thomas […]
